We begin in the Name of Allah ﷻ, the Most Merciful and Compassionate,
We ask that He ﷻ sends Peace and Blessings upon our noble and beloved
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ

We live in a time, especially in the West and unfortunately now even in parts of the East where ideologies are being romanticized and absorbed without much thought. Many people are slowly beginning to adopt and live by these Western ideas and frameworks, often unknowingly.

As a result, individuals start to develop doubts. These doubts often stem from the environments we are constantly surrounded by—places where different ideologies, concepts, and ways of thinking are always being discussed and promoted. When you're constantly hearing various views, it's natural for confusion to arise.

But we must understand: doubt often comes from ignorance. And what is ignorance? In technical terms, ignorance is simply the lack of knowledge about a certain topic or field. It’s not inherently bad, but it needs to be addressed.

One of the most powerful ways to dispel ignorance is by asking good questions.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, as recorded in Sunan Abu Dawood, Ibn Majah, and the Musnad of Imam Ahmad, "The cure for ignorance is to ask questions." This beautiful advice teaches us that seeking knowledge begins with curiosity and questioning.

In some narrations—though some scholars say it's from the Prophet ﷺ and others say it comes from past scholars—we’re told:

"Asking a good question is half of knowledge."

And this is especially relevant when we dive into philosophical discussions. These kinds of conversations naturally raise big questions. When those questions are answered, ignorance is replaced with understanding, and we move closer to discovering the truth.

So this is why it's essential to talk about the existence of Allah ﷻ. Because everyone's mind works differently. And for many, understanding starts by simply asking the right questions.

May Allah ﷻ grant us clarity, strengthen our Imaan, and allow us to seek truth with sincerity and humility.
